Osan Elementary hosts book swap

The Great Osan Elementary School Book Swap took place at Osan Elementary School, Osan Air Base, Korea, on Nov. 13, 2023.
In preparation for the event, students were invited to bring in their gently read books from home and community members also donated books. In total, nearly 2,000 books were collected and every student selected at least one book to take home.
"It was cool,” said fifth grade student Sebastian S. “We got to exchange our books that we don't read anymore for new ones!"
The event was organized by OES Information Specialist Monica Hoagland, with assistance from Math Specialist DaNita Martin, First grade teacher Marissa Evans, and parent Laura Hagood.
